Exam format changes significantly from December 2025

From December 2025, exams will be held at ~95 Prometric test centers nationwide. Multiple-ID ban and 30-day interval rule will be introduced — effectively anti-fraud measures. The current high pass rate may not continue.

  • Architecture hit the highest-ever pass rate of 67.55% (≈68%) in October 2025. Whether this level continues is uncertain.
  • From December 2025, JAC overhauls the exam format (95 centers, multiple-ID ban, 30-day interval) — effectively anti-fraud measures. Pass rates may revert to 2024 levels (20–30%).
  • The Ikusei Shuurou system (2027) eliminates exam exemptions. Early understanding-based study becomes essential.
